1. What this site is

RealmFocus is an informational and editorial website about free mobile games published on Google Play. It describes titles, quotes their public store ratings, shows screenshots taken during testing and adds our own impressions. By using the site you accept these terms; if any part of them does not suit you, please stop using the site.

Every assessment published here is the opinion of the desk, formed after installing and playing the title on a real device. Opinions are not statements of fact, they are not advice, and another player may reasonably disagree with all of them.

2. Advertising disclosure

The catalogue on RealmFocus is free to read and we do not charge for access to it. The project is supported by advertising — publishers and their partners can pay to have titles promoted on the site, and some outbound links in the catalogue are promotional placements — and by Plus memberships taken out by readers.

Paid promotion buys visibility and nothing else. It does not change our impressions, it does not change the ratings we quote from Google Play, and it is never a condition for a title appearing in the catalogue. We publish the same kind of note for a promoted title as for any other, including its weak points. A Plus membership works the same way: it buys longer reading, never a different verdict.

3. Plus membership

Plus is an optional paid membership offered by RealmFocus itself. It does not affect the catalogue, which stays open to every reader without an account.

What is included. A Plus membership covers extended write-ups with detailed notes on mechanics, pacing and difficulty; early access to new write-ups before they reach the catalogue; a weekly e-mail digest written by the desk; and the archive of past issues.

Rates. A$4.90 per month, or A$39 per year. Both rates are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. If a rate changes, we will tell existing members by e-mail before the change takes effect, and the new rate applies only from the following period.

How a membership starts. Plus seats open in stages. Joining the list places you in the queue and creates no obligation: nothing is charged until we confirm a seat by e-mail and you complete the first payment. Until that point you are simply a reader on a list.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time, using the link at the foot of any digest we send or by writing to the desk. Billing stops from the next period, and access to Plus material continues to the end of the period already paid for. We do not require a reason and there is no notice period.

Payments. Payments are processed by an external payment provider under its own terms. RealmFocus does not see or store card numbers or other payment credentials; we hold only your address, the state of your membership and the dates attached to it.

Your consumer rights. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees that apply to services. If Plus material is not delivered as described, write to us and we will put it right, which may include a remedy required by that law.

4. No affiliation

RealmFocus is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to Google LLC, to Google Play, or to any of the publishers and developers named on this site. Names such as G5 Entertainment, Anawiki Games, Eidolon Cyprus LTD, CASUAL AZUR GAMES, Outplay Entertainment Ltd and BELKA GAMES are used only to identify the games we write about.

5. Intellectual property

Game titles, logos, icons, cover art, screenshots and any other publisher material shown on this site remain the property of their respective right holders. They are reproduced here for identification and commentary in the context of editorial coverage, and no ownership is claimed over them.

The layout, structure, styling, original text and editorial assessments of this site belong to RealmFocus. You may quote short passages with a visible link back to the page they came from. Republishing whole entries, or copying the design of the site, requires our written permission.

If you are a right holder and believe something here should be changed or taken down, write to us at studio@realmfocus.com and we will look at it promptly.

6. Third-party links and content

Install buttons and title links lead to pages on Google Play that we do not control. Those pages have their own terms and their own privacy practices, and the publisher decides what the current build contains, how it is priced and which age rating applies. Check the store listing before installing anything.

Every title in the catalogue is free to download, and some of them carry advertising. What a game contains, how it is presented and what it asks of a player is set by its publisher and can change without notice to us.

7. Accuracy and availability

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We take care to quote ratings and rating counts exactly as Google Play shows them at the time of checking, but store data changes constantly, games get updated, and entries can fall behind for a while. We give no warranty that the content is complete, current or error-free, and we do not promise that the site will be available without interruption.

Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where a guarantee under that law cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to re-supplying the relevant content where it is fair and reasonable to do so.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, RealmFocus is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, from your reliance on an editorial assessment, or from anything that happens on a third-party page or inside an installed game. Decisions about what you install on your device are yours.

9. Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a scale that affects other readers, upload harmful code, or use the contact address for unsolicited commercial messages. We may restrict access where this is not respected.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute connected with the site or with these terms.

11. Changes and contact

We may revise these terms when the site or the way we run it changes. The date at the top shows the current version, and using the site after an update means the revised terms apply. How personal information is handled is set out separately in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
